Had to have computer reset and now can not get the

#1: Shut down your computer. You must first shut your computer down toinitiate the factory restore.#2: Start up your computer and as the computer logo appears (such as Dell orHP) hit "Ctrl>F11" simultaneously. This may be different fordifferent machines, but the most common keys to hit are"Ctrl>F11." If this does not work, the F8 key has been said towork for certain machines.
#3: Select "Repair My Computer" from the list of menu options thatappear and press "Enter."
#4: Choose the language settings that you would like and then click enter.
#5: Enter the administrator log in and password if it asks you for thisinformation.
#6: Choose the factory reset option. This should reset your computer to thefactory settings when you bought your machine.

Can i connect the logitech z 2300 speakers to my

Yes. Speakers have a standardized 3.5mm connector (the same as headphones). Your laptop also has a headphone port which will fit this plug and play sound out through the speakers.

My speakers arent working

Have you altered volume level in the PC to Max??

Are they pluggd into the PC sound card port (Green). If so, go into control panel / Sounds / Sounds / Audio and see if driver is NOT greyed ouy, if it is then driver is either not installed or corrupt.

Simply download the mobo sound driver for it and install,

Alternatively you can go into device manager and delete sound driver / scan for hardware changes.

I have bought a logitech z-5500 and was wondering

Hi.

That connector is used to convert the RCA cables out to an 1/8 apple Ipod connector.

I think it is only used to connect an Ipod to your console.

To get 5.1 you need to connect to a surround system, to connect you can useone of the following cables:

• Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable • VGA HD AV cable • S-video AV cable

The best choice is probably using component cables.

After connecting configure following instructions here: How to configure analog or digital audio settings on your Xbox 360

Hi ... my mm50 ipod

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

Sound like you have some power issues on your mm50. Try to check if you sense any heat from the mm50. This abnormal shutdown of the device may be caused by bad capacitors. I suggest that you bring your mm50 to a reputable repair shop because trying to troubleshoot here won't do you much good we cannot see and feel how the device runs. You might end up messing up your mm50 thus making you spend more. (I wish I had one of those)

I hope this helps. Thanks and have a nice day.

Why wont my clearchat usb headset work with windos

Windows 7 hasn't been released yet so you must be using the free pre-release candidate which was made available to the public in order to establish what further work would n=be needed before final release and to get a clearer idea of what equipment may have problems with it.

This version of Windows 7 is completely unsupported and hardware drivers for it have not yet been posted by hardware manufacturers. Contact Logitech directly to find out if and when they'll be releasing a Windows 7 driver for your product.

My logitech headfone is not working.should i need to install it.

Have you checked that the volumes on the headphone cable and the pc ar to the max?
Since you didn't said what model all i can say is to you is to look in the box it came with for a disk with drivers. If ther's one than probably you need to install it.
But if it's just a wired headphone it shouldn't need a driver. Test it to check that you didn't bought s dud: plug it somewhere else, a stereo or something. If it works then test the connector on the pc using another headphone.

I have some older Logitech speakers which I love

If they work when you test them then that is not the cause.

When you say driver do you mean for the program you use to watch video files.

If so these are known as CODECS and it may be that you loaded the incorrect ones and should remove them.

If your video files are movies that you got from the internet then they may require a special player or codec.
