Speakers not working
Hi , have you installed your drivers for your soundcard you plugged the speakers into? if you have then it could be that the speakers are faulty and you would have to return them.
thanks

Logitech speaker problem
Verify that the audio lead is connected to the correct line out on the computer.
Check the sliders in the windows volume control are correct and mute is unticked.
Try plugging some headphones into the computer to hear if the PC is actually producing an output.

Onboard Sound Problem
No you will run into alot of problems and you will destroy *********** board. My advice is that you get a different set of speakers that have a pin with suited size for your sound card.
the problem is that the pin of your current speakers is too long for the jack and as a result only contacts for one speaker are fully connected.
Your sound card has no problem, but if you realy want these speakers just buy another sound card and install it and hopefully it will work.
DONT REMOVE YOUR SOUND PORT
it is very risky
