Hi, I have an Electrolux EWX14450W washer drier. We are currently having work done on our house and the builders needed to move the washing machine. I don’t know if this is a coincidence or if it would have happened anyway but the machine is now tripping both the RCD and the MCB on our consumer unit. It switches on fine, it spins fine, it drains fine. However, something during a program is causing it to trip. I thought it might be the heating element, but I tried a cold rinse and that also caused it to trip. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks

I would unplug it.Maybe the computer reset. You said construction workers.Did they add more electrical sockets. If it's tripping its overloading because two many things running on the circuit board or grounding out on something. It could be the circuit breaker going bad.You can turn off power going into the box then tighten your wires and ground wires going to that breaker. They get loose over years. But with all that you said I believe something has become loose inside the unit while they moved it..

Our Electrolux ewf14742 washing machine still has softener in the softener compartment after a full load has completed. Any ideas why please.

Water does not come into the softener section on the last rinse or the overflow holes are clogged or electric valve for rinse is faulty. My experience is that in over 95% of cases mechanical failure because some residues or deposited calcium carbonate at the water inlet holes (water inlet holes clogged above softener compartment). softener-wg0wow5i3e4kaqo3ix5u5knu-3-0.png Practical advice: - If required, pour fabric softener into the compartment marked (the amount used must not exceed the "MAX" mark in the drawer). Otherwise, softener could be takes in washing or prewashing phase what can cause stains on laundry depending on temperature. (Especially in washing phase at 60-90 Celsius) - If you use thick softeners it is recommended to dilute with water. - After washing cycle finish, residues of detergent, softener and water may remain in the dispenser. It is recommended to clean the dispenser regularly to remove any residue. Dado

Ewf 1074 sudden stop no power

I have the same problem "no power at all" when plug into the power wall inlet. No lamp on, display is blank/no led of 7 segments lit, nothing. The door can be opened and closed normally. Holding Delay and Extra Rinses buttons when power on the electrolux EWF 1074, doesn't help either. The electricity wall plug in is active. What can I do more ?

Hi. I have an Electrolux washer (eifls55iiwo) and I got the error 32 message. I saw about resetting the machine, but I’ve actually smelled an electrical burning smell so I believe it needs more than just resetting. I ordered a new water level pressure switch. Does this sound appropriate or am I way off? Thanks!!

You're probably right per error code. But most likely if you smell electrical burning, it's you main board issues if you bought pressure switch get the main board as well, part no. 134640610.

Need to move an Electrolux frt load washer EWFLW65HTS, can i fabricate a foam base pad or get one somewhere to secure the drum

If you purchased this washer it should come with 4 shipping bolts on the back. Hopefully you saved it, if not you could probably order one based on your model. Fabricating some could potentially damage internal parts. If you can't find shipping bolts, you could probably buy some screws that would fit in the back with sleeves and washers.

I cant get the front panel off, it seems to be the front half of the machine, not a separate panel. I've undone the screws I can see but can't get the front off. Any help? am i missing something?

check the top edge of the front panel, sometimes there's two clips, one on the left top and one on the right top of panel. undo the clips and it should come off. Or if there are no clips you might have to just lift up to clear a notched edge. Clips could also be on the bottom, Either way most machines have a second way of holding the panels or tops on. hope this helped. Lynn
