No sound at all, but power on. Should I replace the phone jack?

Hi Hermann , This is a typical issue with Logitech speakers . You need to bring them back to the the dealer and get an exchange set for free replacement onder warranty . If the warranty has expired , you will need to solve the problem by testing the cables or the printcircuit inside the sub , BUT first connect your head phones or another speakers set to the correct output of your computer's soundcard to verify if the issue actually commes from the speakers . If the test is negative , the issue is to be found in the soundcard and you will need to replace it . Best regards .

Broken green pin on logitech x230 can this be replaced

if the green pin is what plugs into your computer, a traditional, headphone 1/8th inch headphone jack, it can be replaced, however there is some soldering involved. Radio shack sells the replaceable ends for just a couple dollars. the only problem is knowing which wires to connect to which points on the new end. i would have to see the wire with the insulation stripped off to be able to tell you which are which

Hello, My logitech x-230 2.1 speaker system is not producing any sound. The power light comes on but no sound at all comes from any speaker. Also, it is not the computers fault because I have used it

If there is an ON/OFF switch at the back of your 2.1 speakers, then switch it on. Or is the VOLUME control set at 0? Turn it up a bit.Or, are the left & right speakers properly hooked to the subwoofer unit? Please check.

Can I use my Logitech x-230 speakers without the sub-woofer? My sub-woofer got busted!! Any suggestions?Perfectly good speakers!

i had the same problem with same speaker system. the amp for this system is inside the bass speaker. if your amp is still working but your bass speaker is not you could cut the wires to that speaker making sure the cut wires do not short out. i was quoted more to repair them than it was to buy a new set. but i wont be buying logitech again as ive had two lots fail.

Where can i purchase the audio cables that connect the Logitech X 230 sub woofer to my laptop and mp3 player

Usually you can purchase audio cables for speakers and sub-woofers from any or authorized PC outlets. Just explain to the dealership what you want to connect it to and they will shoe you the right "jack" to buy.G.

Recently had computer re booted

If its since the OS has been re-installed it may not have the sound drivers installed. Check on the manufactures website to see if the have any drivers available for Windows XP. Depending on how old the computer is the drivers should be available.
To check if it is a driver is check in Device Manager.
Start > Right click on 'My Computer' and click on 'Properties' You will get a box come up. Click on the 'Hardware' tab. You will see an option for Device Manager. This will show you all the devices that the computer has and will show you if it has the device drivers for it.

Suddenly no sound from mu

Hi there,
Have you tried plugging it into a different power source. (ipod, mp3 player, etc)
Make sure that the volume is ok and the cables are connected to the tightly. Don't forget to check if your speaker has a source option as this will allow you to play from different sound sources but you would have to set where the sound is coming from.
Hope this helps!

No sound

try rolling back the driver,or go online to update it...."sound driver"maybe it is the jack plug outlet.....as a quick check, turn the system sound nearly right down, and quickly plug in your headphones into the jack outlet,if you hear anything through the head phones"not wearing them"then its the lead and jack on your speakers..
