You can get the driver off the logitech wesite, go to support or drivers, type your model in the search and I'm sure you'll be able to dowload and install it from there. Hope this helped.

Right speaker without controls has stopped working.

plese change the wires and try the permutation and combinations.this wil lead to find out if the fault is in wire or in the port. this is purely a hardware fault.

Subwoofer not working

Yea I would say most likely a loose wire going to the bass control, is it accessable to behind the controller easily? if so take a look. they are usually soldered, but it may have been a weak solder point that came loose.

I have logitech x 230 speakers. When i use my old computer i just plug them in and they work. i installed an additional OS to my old computer; windows xp professional. The speakers were not even recog

You may need to install the audio drivers for those systems. If the sound is built onto the mainboard, you'll need the motherboard model number to help locate the drivers online. You can look for them yourself through a search engine, or if you'd like, get back to me with the model numbers of the motherboards, and I will locate your drivers. The model number of the motherboard should be printed directly on the motherboard itself.

Sub woofer making a screaching loud noise when powered on

The pop from other electrical items makes me think it's a ground problem but I am do not have a clue as to what type of setup you are running over there. Did you try a surge protector? Is it 110volts with a seperate ground wire?
Have you tried running a UPS?

Only the right speaker (and the subwoofer) works. The left one doesn't, but it is NOT faulty!

Go to Start/Programs/accessories/entertainment/volume control. And check the left channel as not be muted by ticking the mute box. Check also all other sources of channel control- via the sound card and the computer built in one.

NO SOUND FROM SUBWOOFER

Are you playing your audio(playback) which has been recorded for 5.1 speaker system? If not then you cant make all the speakers work since those heads do not carry any signal. Remember plugging stereo jack on a stereo cassette/tape player where the recording is done mono----- only one Chanel will have output unless you adjust the head manually. Here there is no scope for that, so essentially the recording has to done for 5.1 output otherwise you will get the same output as now...sodeep

My x230 wont work it work for a min then cut out and dont work!!!

Try and twist the jack which is connected to your PC, the solder inside could have snapped. If it has a diferent pwer source for the sound system, then power on, hold the jack and short the ends with your fingertips. If the speakers dont respond then its not getting any power, which could be simple loose connection too. Test both and then decide. If you dont have the correct driver then download from: http://www.new-drivers.com/files/speakers/Logitech/?gclid=CM_a2oOjtpkCFcQtpAod6hp-5Q........sodeep
