Card cannot create folder
Make sure that the card is not "write protected" or "locked". This is determined by the position of the tab on the long-edge on the left side of the card as shown below:
Make sure the tab is positioned as shown in the image - not back in the direction of the "LOCK" arrow. If it still will not work, try formating in a card reader attached to your computer. This will ERASE all content on the card. Then reinsert into camera and reformat once more. You should be ready to take pictures again.
Bright light background
What is your question? Are your pictures coming out with the background too bright? Do you want to take pictures of a subject with a bright light in the background? Something else?
Flahing box on my Rebel T3i display that reads [exp.sim] It won't let me take pictures??? What to do?
Dear BuzzWhitey,I assume that you're stressed out after witnessing this problem. However, I recommend that you don't worry much about it. I can explain it in further detail. But, it would be best to refer to your manual. This isn't a problem. It's merely fixing the settings which will allow you to use this wonderful camera. Please refer to Page number 126 in the handbook. All the best. Happy Snapping, Rebel K
My rebel T3i 600d has been left out in the rain
It is more than likely dead, as there is a 300 volt charge on the flash capacitor and the water acts as a conductor and burns out parts of other circuits. You can try taking out the battery and putting in a ziplock bag with dry rice and see if will work, as it does with some cell phones, but remember that cell phones don't have a built in high voltage flash circuit
The access lamp is constantly illuminated and the flip out monitor has gone completelt blank
Hello David, Sounds like your camera is not completely booting up. If you are not having a battery problem than this is not good news. It will require that your little Canon needs a trip to the service department of your local camera shop, and this is never good news. there are no user fixes for this and repairs can get real costly.Hope this helpsBest Regards, Russell
