You can try Fiebing's product called 911 to remove this. Other suede cleaners may take it out as well, but the one I mentioned has the ability to dissolve organics better than any other product I know. The longer you delay, the more it sets in.

Those wires in the shoe are actually delicate and subject to damage from constant vibration. Depending on the shoe, the lights and wires, batteries may be in the sole. If that is the case you can pull the liner out and check to see if you can access the electronics. It may be sealed though.
I am not sure if there is a repair shop in Manhattan for this, but I would bet that there is. If you look in the yellow pages and then visit some shoe stores to see the work they do, you will find out if there is someone who can help you.
Linda, contact the place you purchased item from, they can give you all the particulars on returning the item.

I assume you are talking about Costco, Sam's, or other membership stores. You actually should not have to use a temporary pass to use the pharmacy, optometry or hearing centers. Just tell the greeter you are going to one of these departments.
On the other hand unless you have a very complex prescription you can get a better deal at some of the eyeglass superstores such as eyemart and get your glasses in about an hour. Happy shopping
One thing to try before you get to replacing velcro is to take a stiff brush and remove the extraneous matter from the velcro straps. There is stuff like cat hair, human skin and dirt that gets caught in there and it weakens the velcro grip.
There are many things involved in pricing anything, including a purse.
1. Condition of the item.
2. Age of the item.
3. Demand for the item. (No one wants an ugly anything, regardless of who made it).
4. Authenticity of the item. There are many fakes and knockoffs.
5. Scarcity (or abundance) of the item. A hard to find item is worth more.
That said, and after all that, the value of the item finally boils down to whatever someone is willing to pay for it. An appraiser can say something is worth $10,000, but if no one wants to pay more that $5000.00, then what is it really worth.
In summary, you are giving us nothing but a brand name and serial number and asking for a value. That is no different than if I gave said what is a Mazda with VIN number ?????? worth? It can't be answered until you see the item and assess all the variables. You need an appraiser to value the item, with an emphasis on real value.
Best way to check is to go to the Coach site and cross reference. You should be able to tell by the stitching at the edges and the corner. The lining is a dead give away as well but you will have to find what lining they used on yours from the site.
