surge outlet doesn't provide any ups function , it sounds as if the ups has shut down and has an internal problem

well as long as the ups sees them all , im not clear why that's a problem , but anyways this is a common thing that happens when doing a hot swap battery replacement , anyway if you really want to reset them back in order then you'll need to bypass the load (or remove it) power down ups and remove its input power too then remove all four trays of battery's , wait a few minutes till the caps die off and then put trays back in the sequence you wish it to be , then repower input wait 4 it to go online (5 min) and then add back load , this should make it go back to a fresh start up , but yo'll need to do this each time you remove trays

apc silicon 40kw ups,1.check if input phases are complete.2.do a phase swap like changing the phase sequence and see if it will complain sequence error.3.after start-up u need to do a dc start-up,the dc bus is +360/-360vdc and after the dc bud is completed you need to press the green botten to power the inverter.if it doesnt do the dc start-up then go to the log and see what it complains about.write out the complain on the log and forward it to me.08082245266.engnr festus.

Are you getting any warning lights? Your post seems to state that this unit is not very old? If still under warranty contact APC, they have fantastic customer service.

On mine, until an electrical storm, was controlled through my computer via USB. Now, it shuts down in 5 seconds. I'm sure it's the thermistors, but I don't have time. Also, check for timing circuits.

disconnecting from internet is a bad configuration of the Modem Router.Also bad signal from your internet provider.check all wiring,and telefone line that holds the ADSL signal.rusted telephone line connections do that trouble.

simply pull out the from side of the UPS, disconnect the batteries from inside, unscrew 4 screws in the back side than pull out the internal components. first check individual battery voltage to be > 12.5Vdc, other wise replace batteries, any how when UPS is in charging mode fan is on

I believe this could be a firmware bug. These units were shipped with a notice to upgrade the firmware on the UPS before putting it into production - have you done that yet? Either way, your local technical support team can help you identify the current firmware version and assist with upgrade instructions to hopefully remedy the problem. They would also guide you to a resolution if a firmware upgrade has already been performed
