Check the paper feed tray for bent papers. Also, try blowing over the sensors to clear any debris. Check for small pieces that may have been left behind. If all fails, unplug it from the outlet, then start it up. Good luck!

Paper jam Error is very Generic issue, it usually starts due to a real Jam and remain there even after removing it. You need to check a number of things to get to some solution. I'll advice you to follow all the instructions given on the links below. Even if you have done it already, do them again precisely, you may be missing something.

try reseting the H code:
· Press CLEAR, EXPOSURE MODE, CLEAR, EXPOSURE MODE.
· The display should go blank.
· Then enter 14 with the copy count keys and press START.
· If the machine does not turn off and back on by itself - then turn it Off and back on.
· See if the H code comes back.

Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.

1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
2. Find the button below the word Auto.
3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step 3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.
   
4. Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
5. Press the green [Start] button.
6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.

Give this a try, the code is a fuser not warming code. This could resolve it.

Most likely the fuser sensor is out of its mounting or the actuator is.
That's really difficult to get out, Have to disassemble the machine. If you do that make sure you have the proper torx tools and patience.
Not the easiest machine to work on. be very careful disconnecting any ribbon cables. The on to the scanner is easily damaged.

That requires disassembing the machine to remove the scanner and then disassemble the scanner to clean the components.
It's quite a job.

If you go to this site, you will need to download MULTIPART zip/rar files.  The ones that you are looking for are XE_Cover and XE_Chapter1.  When you click on XE_Chapter1, pay attention to the Multipart section.  There are at LEAST 13 files that you will have to download to get the whole manual.

That means there is no communication. There is a system error that is probably a fatal error. You could try updating the firmware.

I would ask a friendly Xerox engineer for an OEM one.
