Paper Jam at exit holder

Hi jam_es_2001:
The roller in the maintenace kit applies a thin layer of oil to the image drum. When the image is applied to the drum the oi prevents the image from sticking. The cleaning blade cleans the drum after the image is applied to paper. After the image is applied to the paper the drum is cleaned by the cleaning blade and new oil is applied to the drum for the next image. Check the roller in maintence kit to see if it is dry, if it is replace the maintenance kit.

Hope this helps

Printer error 07,010.43:50141

That is an issue with the movement of the print head. If you had a power failure or the machine was not shut down properly the problem most likely is the print head wiper is tacked to teh print head or drum. That can happen with just normal use.
There is also a stainless steel print head block located on the lower left fraim that fills up with used ink runoff, if that is gummed up the print head can not move freely.
E-mail me at [email protected], I wll send you instructions.

07,010.43:135802

That is a print head tilt or X-Y axis fault.
1 of three things causes it to not move.
1 there is a stainless steel print head block that fills up with the ink that runs out of the maintenance tray. Mostly because the printer is not sitting level. But it needs to be cleaned.
2, The print head wiper blade has tacked to the print head, or 3, The wiper blade clutch has failed.

Phaser 8400 won't print.

pull out the paper drawer and look on the ceiling of the compartment. you will see a little orange rubber roller that should be clicked inplace. it feeds the paper up into the roller. also, the drawer itself contains two sensors. if you go to the xerox page you can download the pdf that lists all the parts and the errors and how to disassemble the whole thing. i have the same printer and got a print head error and a paper jam that required complete disassembly. feel free to email me for additional help.

Xerox Phaser 8400 Error code 07,010.43:99907

You manually rotated the aluminum drum? Since you did that, I would suspect you have the print head wiper blade stuck between the drum and print head. The code you are getting it caused by the print head not being able to move freely.
The jamming is probably due to a bad registration clutch. Common failure on that machine.
You can go to Xerox.com, there is under documentation and drivers a parts list for that machine. You can reference the wiper blade and get the clutch part number there.
Let me know what other information you may need. I will be glad to help you get it running again.

Xerox Phaser 8400

That is a problem with print head movement. Either side to side or tilt. There is a stainless steel print head block located on the left side of the frame, about 2/3 of the way back and near the bottom, It may be contaminated with ink. Or the print head wiper may be tacked to the print head. If you want info how ot access and repair, let me know.

When you removed thejammed paper the paper sensor might still be stuck in an active position.
Have to pull it back in place. Just have to follow the paper path and find out where it is.

Anyone help with fault code 08.007.41.122.171

That is normally a RAM failure. You can try going to the back of the machine and opening the plate which covers the memory stick or sticks, depending on how much memory you have. Remove and reseat the memory. You may have had a memory failure, memory dump or electronics module failure. Kind of a difficult one to trouble shoot.

Xerox Phaser 8400 error code 37,004.40:27697

The majority of the time that code means the print head has failed.
That is a print head heater error.
You can find some places that sell print heads for about $150 , you would have to google the model number for that.
Xerox would charge $750 for a new print head, uninstalled.
