Some CD drives have proprietary drivers but since it worked to install windows, we have a good clue to work with. Check and see if under device manager the IDE channels are working, this means not marked with a yellow exclamation mark. If one or any are, the protected mode drivers are locked. Open regedit and go to this key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CURRENTCONTROLSET > SERVICES > VXD > IOS
Click on the NOIDE entry on the right side of the regedit program and hit delete. Close regedit and reboot, this will reset the protected mode drivers.
If this doesn't do it, try changing from DMA transfer protocol to P10. It is on the settings page of the CD rom once you get it into device manager.
If it's still not working, you may have use DOS mode drivers and that's to complicated to describe here.

Please record the amount of time that it takes until your device goes into sleep mode and set a timer for 5 minutes less than that time everytime you begin to use the lg device. At the points the timer/alarm goes off, you can simply lower/increase the volume and the lg's internal sleep timer should be reset.

Please try using an alternative connection to the hdmit and test the monitor buttons again. And using analog mode prior to testing the monitor buttons again sounds like a good test as well.

'the nozzles orange'? Do you means 'orange nozzles', or is 'orange' a typo? There should be no oranges back there :>)
It you have removed the dispenser drawer, the nozzles cause the water to flow into the correct compartments.
