Memory confusion different readings
It sounds like something isnt working right, what operating system are you using, Vista? I would take out the original 512 and see what it says after, often ram isnt compatible if it is too different in size and speeds. Also, if your motherboard supports dual channel ram and you have the extra 512 chip it wont run in dual channel mode, you would run better with just the 2 chips then the added 512 chip.

You can get the drivers from the makers website. if your motherboard is intel try www.intel.com they are there somewhere. if its another brand look up their website from google and get the drivers from their website or contact their support to get the drivers.
Thanks and good luck.

Motherboard JV2DP Installation problems
The beeping is it constant ?
I am aware you have mach speed jv2dp but having some trouble locating your motherboard manual . If you have manual please look to see what speed or memory you can support .
Sounds as if you have incorrect memory ( speed or type )
Many motherboards are selctive of what kind of memory not just the speed . Reason why it beeps as it does .

Computer won't turn on
check all led's. then make sure your switch is connected to the motherboard properly. if a conection to the switch is loose (which is what it seems) it wont register to start the boot process.

Viper MSNV-939 ATX Socket 939
I assume you have tried with only one stick of ram individually at a time if you are using two to check it's not the ram as one faulty can cause the system to stop.
Also assuming you bought the ram from the same place and is compatible with the board.
Sometimes people also forget that the processor in some cases has to be powered by the 4 pin plug from the PSU and not just from the ZIF socket that older processors use to power up, so double check the manual.
The other main common cause of the this problem is when you are putting together all the hardware onto the board, if you don't protect it underneath it may have overflexed the board and shorted or damaged the circuitry or the bios chip.
That's not to say that the motherboard was'nt faulty in the first place.

it's not often you need to use cable select, but if you have had to use cable select on one of your drives, your other drive would have to use cable select, but you may need to check in the bios F2 or Del on start up and in the list of drives you should be able to press f12 or similair to auto identify the drives, then save and exit.

My tablet is stuck on the start up screen.
The BIOS information is typically found at or near the top of the POST screen for a very short time
ALR PC non / PCI =CTRL+ALT+ESC
AMD advanced micro devices=BIOS = DEL
Award BIOS = DEL
Dtk Datatech Enterprises Co. BIOS = ESC
Phoenix BIOS = CTRL+ALT+S
Phoenix BIOS = CTRL+ALT+INS
Restart your computer
during the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key usually Delete or F2 to enter setup
this will differ depending on which bios you have
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS
if you have changed any of the BIOS settings by mistake
you can load failsafe or optimised defaultsusing the arrow keys you can after you make any changes in BIOS press Esc then press the F10 button save to cmos to restart
CMOS is an on-board semiconductor chip powered by a CMOS battery inside computers that stores information such as the system time and date and the system hardware settings for your computer..
this will reset your cmos
