Does it have a second HDD or is it a Recovery Partition? C would be the primary, if you have a D, it may be a Partition of the primary? try right clicking my computer then device manager see if you have a yellow question mark if its there you need to download its driver if its all good then try fn + the blue antenna on f 8

To remove the BIOS password all you need to do is reset the BIOS.

To reset the bios all you need to do is open the side panel of the CPU unit and you shall find a electronic battery on the motherboard. This is the CMOS battery. Press on the clip to remove the battery from its slot and wait for a minute. switch on the PC without the battery and switch off after 30 secs. now reconnect the battery and your BIOS reset is done.

I think the issue should get resolved.

This happens when a startup program is is corrupt or is not responding.It can also be that a hardware is gone corrupt that is making the computer freeze.To correct the problem please follow the trobleshooting steps listed below.

Disconnet any external devices that you have added after you bought the notebook like usb devices ,printer etc.Then turn the computer on and see if the computer freezes or not .If it does not freeze then it means that there is an external device that is causing the problem and to find it out you need to connect one device at a time and check .

U can also do this .Turn the computer off completely and then when you turn the computer on keep on tapping the F8 key till it loads the advance boot menu page then select safe mode just plain safe mode and hit the enter key .Wait till it loads the the log on screen then select administrator.It will take you to the desktop and check if the computer freezes or not .If it doesn't then it means that there is a program that is causing the computer to freeze.Go to start?run ?type in msconfig?enter?click on the startup tab ?click on disable all?apply ?select the services tab?click on disable all ?apply ?click on ok or close to exit from the page and then select restart when it prompts you to .When it is booting up to the normal mode check if the computer freezes.Then you will have to find the program that is causing the computer to freeze.To do this first enable all the startup program and then check if it doesnt then its a program under services that is corrupt .S o select one or more program restart and check so this way you will have to isolate the program and then just leave that program unchecked.

its a hardware problem. the webcam is not properly installed(driver) when its installed the skype will pick it up from there. thanks . sheva101

That is the boot log - after the drivers it should load the basic user files. If it gets stuck there then those files have been corrupted. There is only one thing left to do - you must reinstall Windows using the recovery cd that came with the pc when you bought it.
