DFI LanParty KT400A Motherboard - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
LanParty Crashes All the time
The capacitors on the motherboard have aged and they aren't capable no more of filtering the current to the processor. Either you replace them, good soldering skills are needed for that, or just replace it entirely.

Red lights on board
i never had green lights on my motherboard, they have always been red and it runs fine. the mother board was made with red led lights. if its not working right, it's probably the switches on the mother board, normally make the first switch on, and the other 3 off.

Intermittently shuts off
It seem your computer is having overheating problem, before you try anything, clean the motherboard,heatsink,cpu,ram,etc... and blow away all the dust, then check the video card on another PC so that you can make sure it isn't the problem.. If problem persists, do let me know... Good luck..

DFI Infinity NF4 SLI won't start
Hi steve, PC repair is trial & error. I suggest you replace the power supply or test the power supply in another PC that also uses 4 SATA drives & two PCI-E slots for starters. Two boards with the same problem is odd. You must have the CPU & fan connected, memory installed, ATA 24_pin main power plugg connected (Page 17 in manual). 4-pin_12v power connected which is located (Just to the left of DDR1 memory slot). Looking at you're board the power supply should be no less than 500w.
CPU must have thermal grease between CPU & heat sink.
Even though you have fans running & LED's on & flashing, the power supply seems to be the first item to check. Make sure the bottom of the motherboard is not touching the PC case.
Try the above & post you're finding here.
Good Luck!
Mike

My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
