use the USB cable to connect the camera to the PC .PC also has audio video out cards to be connected to the TV monitors. The CCTV cameras are cheaper and easy to connect as they all come with Audio Video out.

Do you really need a driver? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

The manual on page 126 says: Image Database File error Cannot recover Import all of the images to the computer with "PMB", and format the memory card or the internal memory (page 97). To view the images again with the camera, export the imported images to the camera with "PMB". If you used the card before in the same camera, it should be compatible. If you can't save the pictures normally, us an external card reader, to save or recover and save the pictures first. Then do a format in the card reader (FAT or FAT32) and when you reinsert the card in the camera, again format the card, this time in the camera. (You always should format in the camera, the first time you use a memory card in a camera, or after you had a failure tithe the memory card.

Where did you check the memory card? in the computer? that is not the right place. Every card, old or new, you use in a camera for the first time should be formatted in the camera. First you must be 100% sure it is the correct card. Not every memory stick Sony has, can be used in every camera. So check the manual, what Duo, Pro or other memory card should go into your camera. Check if you have the correct card. Then if the card was used before, check if no pictures are on the card (external memory card reader) and save the pictures to the computer. Then format the card. If you can't format the card in the camera, try to format it in the external memory card reader. Use FAT32. Then reinsert the card in the camera and again try to format the card. If nothing goes, try another (correct) card to make sure nothing is wrong with the camera.

You cannot pause a video. Can have to stop and start again. (see page 13 of your manual)

Sony Cyber-Shot... • Answered on Dec 08, 2013

There is no pause function. You pause the same way they do it in Hollywood. Stop the current clip, start a new one when ready, then splice the clips together in editing.

Common problem on these types of camera unfortunately - at best you can try and clean it as some times the problem is dirt - if it is the mechanics you'll have to send it in.

To change what the screen shows, press cursor-up (marked DISP). Bear in mind that none of the text will actually appear on your photos; they're there on the screen simply to inform you.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

If you hear a noise from the lens when you try to take picture or During turn on/off time then it's a lens guide pin problem OR Somehow its jammed or damaged. It's happens when the camera pressed or drop down during turn on mode or long time not use.

For the solution you need to follow the steps.

1. Turn off the camera and remove the memory card and clean the external body of the camera and make sure in place of the lens there is no dust or damaged sign.

2. Now turn on the camera without memory card & make sure the battery are fully charged.

3. If the lens not moving then give a little shake or thrust by hand ( carefully very slow) and then wait for a moment. If no changes then turn on the camera and give a little twist an anti clock side and leave for few second. It is risky ( Do it slowly at your own risk)

4. If nothing change then reset the camera setting from the menu option.

After following all steps, if the camera does not start working then you need to visit service center for replacing the Lens or Repairing. If you have any more questions ask me I fell happy to answer your question. Thank you.
