Unless your computer has a serial port you may need to purchase a compact flash card reader to pull pictures off the card. This camera has no internal storage. It should have a compact flash card in the side slot. the readers can be purchased at most electronic retailers or online and are very inexpensive. Which password do you need ? Normally, passwords of any type are set up by the user.

Open the battery/MicroSD compartment located next to the tripod mount. On the battery cover is a decal with the SSID the camera will broadcast. The password for this SSID is 12345678. I hope this helps you.

Are your Kodak camera battery is NI-MH ones? You can try to use Li-ion Kodak camera batteries and see if anything help? This problem is common on some model of Canon cameras, because the Ni-MH camera's voltage is lower than the Li-ion ones, and the cameras judge low battery power by the real-time voltage

If the camera manual states it takes an SD card, then that is what you want. Be careful and do not get an SDHC card if the camera cannot utilise it - your camera manual should help with this.
