Look for loose contacts in power outlet, RC Jacks, sockets, cables. Change input device to some other like a DVD that you are sure works. If problem persists, call in a qualified service technician, as back cover has to be opened for further investigation.

When i turn off tv it wont go back on for hours
The most likely issue is your power supply is failing. Most likely issue that would cause this problem is bad capacitors on the power supply. What happens in the above situation is:After the Tv has been off for some time the electronics and capacitors are cool and supply the correct voltage so the TV turns on. After using the TV the electronics heat up and the material in the capacitors expands causing the power supply to supply incorrect voltage. With the TV the power is flowing and is close enough to the correct values for the TV to stay on, after being shut off the TV will not turn back on because correct voltage is not present until the components cool down and the voltage at power on no longer engages the protection circuit. Volume is not working
Try a DVD etc hooked to a rear a/v input and see if sound normal there. If it is the issue is related to the tuner in the set as sound is usually first developed there. If it works via rear inputs you can route your signal into those.Hisense is a company that has gone out of business at least 2 times and are in China. They are well known for no parts or technical assistance.Another option if using a cable box etc might be installing a surround sound system off the cable box for your sound--works sometimes.

Hisense tv
The problem with these poorly made (in my view) sets is they are made in China and the company there has gone out of business by my count 2 times---they make poor sets for export and no parts or service literature so when you replace it consider another brand and something worth being repaired.

If you are looking for a power board for a Hisense= good luck as the company is in China and regularly goes out of business and never has any boards or even parts available.

I have no picture
HelloYou haven,t specified any thing about the sound condition. If sound output also is absent, the amin baord of your Hisense TV is faulty. To make it sure, you have to check the set by refereing its repair book. I've this doecument, but I can't upload it to you by this window, as it does not allow me to upload it to you by this. If you are interested, inform me by Fixya comment box. I'll give you instructions to be followed. OK.

What does it mean when the picture goes out?
HelloThere are so many reasons for picture to gets out. The first amoung them, is of its backlight itself. If the backlight CCFL tubes wont light up, there will be no backlight to illuminate the picture. If baclkight inverter board has damaged, backlight CCFL lamps won't light up. The most common fault with LCD TVs are backlight failure itself. The second one is of with its main video processor board. In short, main board itself. You have to check and make sure which one is faulty. You must ahve sound knoledge in electronics to proceed. OK.

Tv wont turn on it
There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both.
Any caps in these sections that look bulged at the top, or bulged/leaking at the bottom need to be replaced.
If you repeatedly turn it off and on, eventually it'll probably stay on, but every time you turn it off, the TV will get harder and harder to start up until one day it just won't.
Sometimes you have to do the opposite to start it up and unplug it for some time and then try again.
If you aren't tech savvy, don't worry, read the rest of this solution and watch the videos.
If you are handy with a soldering iron and can identify the power supply and inverter / FM section for the backlights, an inexpensive handful of capacitors will likely fix you right up.
Match the capacitance on the capacitors. Go over voltage if you can, and still have them fit.
IE - it's not a bad idea to replace a 10V cap with a 16V or 25V or even a 50V, but don't replace a 680uF cap with a 500uF or a 1000uF (unless you are positive it's only doing ripple filtering, and even then, you should go OVER, not under the uF rating).
Most of the caps that go are 10V 1000uF or 3300uF.
I found some great videos of the procedure (for many Samsungs with the same issue) on youtube.

As you can see, this issue spans plasma TVs, as well as large and small LCD TVs and monitors.
The parts are cheap, and skill required is minimal.

Need IR code for Hisense 32" LCD tv to program
Are you referring to the iPhone/iPad app? if yes then this is not a remote app, it's a management app made for Comcast boxes and nothing else it doesn't controls tv's.
If you are referring to the actual remote for one of the Comcast boxes then it all depends on what model of remote you have and the exact model of your tv - some will support it thru the use of a Daewoo or Samsung code, others don't.
So you have 2 options:
1 - you try every Daewoo and Samsung code you have in the manual and if that fails you do a code scan on the remote as explained in the manual:
Turn on your TV
Press the TV button on the top of the remote, then press and hold Setup until the TV light blinks twice
Enter 9-9-1 and the TV button will blink twice
Press and release 1 and the TV button will blink twice
Point the remote at the TV, press and release the Power button, then press the CH+ button multiple times until the TV turns off
Press Setup once to lock in the code and the TV button will blink twice
If even that fails - the tv doesn't shuts down - then the remote is incompatible to the tv so
2 - you get a remote that is compatible with both. The only one i could find is
