I need a manual on how to set the time and alarms
To set the time, press Set (furthest left button in the line including the Snooze) repeatedly until the clock icon shows on the display. Then press the FWD or REV buttons (on either side of the Snooze button) until you reach the current time. Press and hold to advance the time more rapidly. Press Set to save the time.
To set the alarm, press Set until Wake 1 or Wake 2 is shown on the display. Then follow the same directions as changing the time. Press WK1 or WK2 on the front of the clock to select the type of alarm.
The manual for the RCA RP5600 is available on the product page:
http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/audio/clockradios/?sku=RP5600 . See the Support/Manuals tab. The direct link to the manual is
http://audiovox2.info/docs/common/RP5600/RP5600_OM.pdf .
I hope this helps.

When I press "open" for the cd player to open on
Hi, if you know which way the door opens somtimes it is possible to gently slide the door in the direction it needs to go in. If not you may have to disassemble to reattach the rubber band that drives the door ( which is more than likely what the noise your hearing is.) I hope this provides some help. feel free to ask again for help disassembing, maybe provide model number and such. So good luck and thanks for asking FixYa. Prodzilla
Hi i have a rca Clock Radio RP5435C i need to know
Move the switch on the top back to either the clock symbol to set time or alarm 1 or 2 depending on which one you wish to set. On either side of the snooze button is a fwd and rev button. Push fwd to advance the time or rev to go back. If setting the alarm it will automatically turn the alarm on when you set it. To turn alarm on or off manually, push the button for the alarm you choose on the top rear right side.

I have the RCA stereo
Hi,
To start with, i would like to inform you that repair would not make any sense. The RCA alarm clock is easily available between $25 - $50 depending upon the model and the options. To take to a repair shop, he would charge around $25 - $50 to open it and then cost of parts and labor would be on top of this.
This seems to be a hardware failure ranging from problem in electronic circuitry to issues like lens problem. You could try to open the player.Clean the dust and dirt with a compressed can. Clean the lens with cotton. Assemble all the parts again. There is no point if purchasing the lens or any hardware stuff, as the cost of the part would be more than the part of the new machine.
I hope i have been helpful!!
Thank you!!
