Probably best to go back to who you bought it from to get the code. Otherwise you will need to visit a dealer and pay them to get a code.

Best to follow directions or even better, have a professional install it.

It would help knowing what you are working on, motor type, boat model, etc.... I suspect you have an inboard engine and there are flappers to protect the intake while sitting at a dock. When running there are small props to push the water through the engine to keep it cooled and one of the flappers has come loose. But that's just my guess based on the info provided.

I don't think there were flushing screws on those old motors. Use muffs with fresh water from a hose and run the engine to flush out the water system.

I usually see 14.5 volts as a norm, but based on this site, you can see up to 15 volts for charging. If you are at 14.8, are you basing your overcharge on that or is there something else going on like boiling the water in the battery?

I don't think you can reset it. Whatever the problem is, that needs to be corrected otherwise it will just go back into guardian mode. On a mercruiser forum, people posted that once the specific problem was corrected, the unit turned off guardian mode automatically.

Should be on the mounting bracket. See photo below. If it's not there, you will probably have to call the manufacturer for identifying the model.

Sounds like the prop is cavitating when air gets by the prop. Perhaps this is happening when the water is more rough and the boat is bouncing more.

I don't know much about the air shot. I do know that Wellcraft was one of the best boat building companies. Since the hull design really didn't stick around, it may have been more expensive to make with some improvement in how the boat planes and takes waves. Kind of like a tri-hull.

There is resistance coils in the motor housing to give the multiposition switch the five speeds. The case of the motor housing is used as a heat sink with the water cooling the case. If you want to use a two wire controller, you will need to find the two wires for high speed and wire from there.

There is a button to push to mate the remote control to the motor. Also check to see if the remote battery is good. The

Generally, yes that bolt should be reachable. Since that bolt is rarely changed, it can be difficult to reach. There should be storage up around that area. You might be able to reach it with a long arm or extension for the socket.

Sounds like there is a blockage in the fuel line that lets gas through for a short period of time, then becomes very low and the engine stalls. Look for dirt in the lines and clean out.

Sounds like your running a power prop instead of a speed prop. Call PROPCO company out of Monroe Georgia. These people are the best. Let them explain what cupping a prop does for speed.
