POST and BIOS Question: Dead laptop
Since you swapped everything, the last option will be the on-board power supply. If it has failed, then nothing will work. As a guess, I would assume the 1.8v power supply for the CPU has quit.

I have a wireless siemens
The only number I can find is located on
this web-page. When I chose USA, it gave me a warranty hotline. I would go ahead and call that number, talk with a representative, explain the situation to them, and hope they either assist you or give you the telephone number to their support network.
Hopefully that information is enough to go on. Let me know if it isn't and I'll try to step you through the process of accessing your wireless router's configuration panel in hopes you can assign your own IP addresses.

I have the SE 567 and cannot get it to connect to
Do you have laptop connected to Router with RJ45 cable??? if not plug it in and it should work. (This will prove all U/N and P/W are OK.)
If its all OK as above then to set it up wireless simply un plug and enable wireless faciltiy in the laptop "Control panel" and "Search for available networks" "Connect" to whatever your network name is. If it asks for a pssword (It should do) then you must type in the WEP key you originally put in to router. (Assuming you have a secured network before)

Hello there..
Well, as i understand you want to plug out the wired lan between computer an router and switch to wireless lan between computer and router?
If so, then you need to buy a wireless card or adapter in order to connect to router via computer without using ethernet cable. Wireless dongles in my opinion is the way to go, it is portable and very cheap and it works very good. Here is a link where you can compare prices and reviews.

Really hope that this can help you.

Do you need a disc to hook the modem up
Your non-specific question is hard to answer without all the facts... but generally, any O/S above Windows 2000 will have the necessary drivers.
Depending how new your router is, you may need a driver download from Siemen's website for whatever O/S you are using.
As a general rule, once installed (with a disc) you should go to the site for the latest drivers anyway.

Where is the on button
press the Fn button at the very bottom on the left hand side of the keyboard. (its next to the ctrl button) press the Fn button together with F1. this should then bring up a box that says wireless status option. click in the circle for the on button and click the green tick. the wireless should now be switched on. Hope this helps.

Dvd drive not working
Typically, the grunting would indicate a bad drive. Replace it. They're fairly inexpensive nowadays ($20-$30).

NO SOUND NO VIDEO IS WORKING AFTER A FORMAT
hi Favox,
you should be able to download all the drivers you need
here .
that said, if i may suggest you also buy a lil program called "my drivers". its really easy to use and it will backup all your drivers so that you never need to download them again.
Always before you format backup the dirvers so you can get up and running asap.
i hope this helped and if you need anything further just ask.
