That would be a problem for the Cox phone service provider.

you can't. that software that came with your router is actually its driver.

It depends on a lot of variables. If the internet provider can guarantee you 100mbs, I'd call and have them come out. You gotta remember though, if the site you are downloading from is not producing 100mbs, you won't get it either.

Well, you can just reset the unit and start again. I have a checklist of items that I reccomend that you set:

Wireless Router

It is usually easiest to run the install wizard, but be sure to be ready to set the items listed below.

Things to set:

Note: Routers are intended to be set by geeks. You have to SAVE EVERY page, or the changes will be lost. A geek knows this (apparently). The router gives no protest...just dumps your changes.

1. Login password (RECORD THIS!!). Consider taping to bottom of the router. Physical access is not the security issue.

2. Set a recognizable system ID.

3. Invoke wireless security of at least WEP.

a. Assign your own access code, 10 digit home or cell #. Consider taping to bottom of the router. Physical access is not the security issue.

4. Check that your router is set to broadcast its' presence.

I have a SpeedStream 2614 with a Brother HL-1440 on the parallel port.

I had the same problem and searched for days and finally found the answer !

Setup the printer manually adding TCP/IP port (I use 192.168.1.254, yours may vary) then use LPR method with queue name of LPT1.

plug your DSL or ISP cable in your router's WAN or DSL port and then you need to power on your router.

1 of the router could be over filtering your Internet connection , try to Isolate by just using 1 router to the other, Test 1 router at a time.

Me too but on a 2614/2623. It looks like the router is no longer supported . I have read that some of the SMC print servers are the same but haven't found the right one yet.

Please note that the router Siemens SpeedStream 2614 is wired router and does not have wireless features.Hence, this is not the correct product for you to check the wireless security key/password.Let me know if you are using a wireless router on your network and its model number.

If you reset the router you will lose all the settings of the router.
On the router you will find a small reset button .
Hold it down for 30 seconds.
Unplug the power cable and plug it back in.
wait for 30 seconds and then reconfigure the router.

It may be due to the Antivirus software installed in your system or may be due to Windows defender firewall. Disable the antivirus and windows defender for time being and try again. If you are successfull, then provide proper exceptions to the PFPortChecker program in your antivirus and windows firewall after you enable then to run. I hope this will help you.

If you don't have one of those providers go down to the bottom of non-specific isp provider.

Remember that upgrading firmware will usually erase all settings.

The printer port on 2600 series routers does not support bidirectional printing. This feature should be disabled for the product to function normally. See Related Articles at right for further information.

Solution
To disabling bidirectional printing:

1. Go to [Start > Settings > Printers] or [Start > Control Panel > Printers], depending on your version of Windows.
2. Right-click the printer and select [Properties].
3. Select�the�[Ports] tab.
4. Deselect [Enable bidirectional support].
