Have a tape stuck in the vcr and machine keeps
You will have to take it apart. Take the lid off, and you should see a gear that you can turn by hand. Turn it until the the tape pops out. It shuts off because it can't get the tape out. Hopefully after you get the tape out that will solve your problem.

How to my tv in to a computer monitor
It could be easy depending on if you have a PC connection on the back of your TV. If you do you can purchase a VGA cable that would normally be seen on the back of a computer and connect your computer to the TV. Of course, you will need to ensure you have a VGA connection on the back of the computer if its a laptop.
If you don't have a VGA port on the back I've heard you can use an S-video cable but I've never used one.

Screen goes blue on digilogic tv we have it set up
Blue screen on most TVs indicates that it is not able to see a signal on the input that is chosen. Most TVs have multiple inputs now, and some of the connectors share the same colors as well. I am betting that your karaoke box uses a 3 wire cable that comes out, 1 red, 1 white, 1 yellow that should go to the composite input on the TV. Here is the problem with that kind of cable. Very easily damaged. If you are sure that the input is set correctly on the TV, try replacing the cable.

The dvd player built into
Hi,
Hi, As general guidance, No Disc either means that the format is not recognized. For Example - When you put a R/W disc in an old player or because it can't read tracks. The later can occur if the head needs cleaning with a head cleaning disc. This does not always work!
Has the CD been used in this machine before?
Does it happen to all CD's..then a head clean is required.
You could purchase a Lens Cleaner CD that would help to Fix this issue. Before this, you could also try to switch OFF the Player and then Turn it Back On after few minutes, say 30 minutes and check the progress.
But,More likely it Sounds as the Lens has Gone Bad or there is a faulty Circuit. In both conditions, you need to have a Professional on site as it needs to be dissembled.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Unit powers on for about 20 seconds and then
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, determine and postback the exact model number of the Audiovox combo TV/DVD unit.
Offhand, if it were a slot type DVD loading system, try fishing the inside of the slot in case a disc is stuck inside. This is best done with a credit card like something. The idea is to jar the erring disc while pressing on the EJECT button. In some instances, a
can of compressed air maybe used.
Alternately, power off and unplug the unit. Press and hold on the EJECT button while plugging in and/or powering the unit. May have to be done a couple of times.
Should the above be not corrective, options then are:
- consider a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair if and only if very familiar with electronic components & circuitry, use of a DVM/VOM, a soldering iron/station and safe working practices with electrically powered devices. Access to a Service Manual or at the very least, a schematic diagram would be a necessity;
- should you be uncomfortable with a DIY, perhaps your best bet would then be to seek the services of an authorized Audiovox Service Center (specially if still under some form of extended warranty) or a qualified professional.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

No picture only sound
The most likely the TV has a power supply related problem. The most common thing to go out is the circuit board that supply power to the screen. Commonly called a Backlight Inverter Board.
I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet.
If by chance the TV is still under warranty with some type of extended purchase plan, go that route.
If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, you can purchase a Service Manual over the internet and diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20.
I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.

Buzz sound
sounds like relay chater might be a bad capastor out of spec near the relay i dont have the spec on this tv but some sanyo tv had that kind of sound and it is a bad capastor like 470u at 25 volts in them. Look for a bulg on the top of caps around relay area. Board marking are like c 601 this is not the right number for your set just to let you know sort of what you are looking for the c standing for capastor. Be sure to unplug tv before youtake it apart there is high voltage in the set even after you unplug it.the cap shuld be black or blue with a silver flat top even if they look good still can be bad cant tell untell you test them on a machine.
