Garmin 550 pro light will not turn green after charging
Is the unit functioning, even thought the Green light is not lit? If it is working if you use it for a while does it then show the Yellow light? If A and B are correct then you simply have a bad Green light bulb and the unit itself is fine.

Hi i have just checked my Garmin GPS plus and its got a massage saying memory lost inbattery low do i replace the battery and what is the battery code no# for the replacement and where is it located in the unit i can not see eneything that resembles a battery 3v????
Im not sure that you can safely to take unit apart and keep it waterproof after reassembly. I believe you are writing about internal battery mounted on circuit board

I bought my grandfather a Garmin echomap 44 DV. Recently the transducer was stolen is it possible to still use it without the transducer
I believe it will work without the transducer. This is based upon my locating reports of other Garmin models working without the transducer such as the Garmin echoMAP CHIRP 74sv. Garmin support would likely respond to such an inquiry.

Garmin Nuvi 660 NA is stuck in "pre-boot" mode. How do I fix this?
I don't know if that would work but I think this is the power button if you press and hold then you boot into "Pre-Boot" mode. If you press and release the power button then it doesn't goto "Pre-Boot". I think your power button is stuck.. either that is broken that remains pressed and don't let the device to boot into normal mode. Try hitting the power buttons surrounding with some a little hard thing while holding your device upside down and the button is downward. or if you even keep pressing the power button the "preboot" appears and after 30seconds the devices enters into updates and it works fine.
