You may have to do a full reset which will delete everything on the Garmin. There should be a very small hole in the back which has a reset switch inside. Use a paperclip to press it. If you have a booklet, read that, it should say where the reset button is.

GPS GarminUV1450. I I charged it over 3 hours. When I push the start button on the top, all i get is the GARMIN word, and then goes back to a black screen. It hasn't been dropped or damaged.

My garmin is about a year old. It seems to have died. The screen is blank except for a red line at the top. It doesn't look like there is anywhere to replace batteries. What could be the problem.

Garmin Edge 820, works flawlessly & then goes into a pause mode mid ride. If you select the button to continue, it works for about 5 secs & then pauses. Factory resets work for a while. Any ideas?

Your Garmin probably needs upgrading of its software. Plug the unit into a computer running Garmin Express and, assuming the device is registered, the unit will be detected and upgrades automatically identified. Follow the process to complete the upgrade(s).
