Reset the password to '0000' by holding the VolumeDown and ChannelUp buttons on the TV (not remote) for about 5 seconds. Do this while viewing blocked content- you'll see the screen blink when it gets reset. Then go into the menu and disable/change the v-chip settings as desired using password '0000'. Hope this helps- -sv-

Sounds like a tuner fault. Contact any service technician to make it confirm, and to replace. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

You may have a bad ground in your tuner board! Or it may be a bad cable connection [the coaxial cable itself] Be sure you checkout your connections, cables, vcr,dvd etc. before you take the cover off the back of your TV. Thanks for asking!

you'll need to acquire an rf modulator if the vcr does not have an rf out to tv connector, the electronics department of any discount store has these in stock, it comes with installation instructions and the necessary accessories for you to make the install.

Not if you cable TV, DirecTV, Dish network, or FIOS. The converters are not usable with those services.

If you use a regular TV antenna or rabbit ears, then, yes, you will need a DTV converter box. If so, I'd suggest getting one well before next February. Why? 'Cause the pictures are better, and you'll have access to "virtual channels", where broadcasters send more than one program on channels like 4.1, 4.2, etc. Also, if you have poor reception, you may need a better antenna to see the DTV signals. Better to know that before DTV is all that is being broadcast over the airwaves.

If there is nothing, it is probably the power supply. Read this though https://www.fixya.com/support/r29790007-repairing_own_television ..
