Fuse on the sub can be removed by inserting a straight screwdriver and turning counterclockwise (unplug sub first). It should pop out. Replace with exact same fuse.

If the fuse had blown the sub woofer would be dead. I think you have a very low frequency oscillation problem . Now the frequency is so low ( below 15Hz ) one cannot hear it but if you look at the sub woofer speaker it will be pushing like a piston - to and fro very powerfully.

If the receiver does not have a dedicated socket for playing back records, you will probably need a magnetic cartridge pre-amp. You can then connect via any left and right audio imput. If you do it without a pre-amp the sound will be there, but too low to listen too.
