Welcome to Fixya..

Lets try two things to clear up that error..

First try cleaning the cd with some windex or mild glass cleaner.

And the second. Purchase a cd lens cleaner from walmart, Kmart, or target. They are usually inexpensive.

The internal lense most likely needs to be cleaned.. And it will play Cd's again normally.

Based on the specs of the CD player there are no AUX inputs on the deck. Neither 1/8 inch or RCA inputs. Has preamp RCA outs but that doesn't help. The only way to do it would be to use an FM Transmitter. Like these ones or others that are compliant with your generation of Ipod.

Yike! As with most electronics, they are necessarily dead when they get wet, but you do have to be very careful with them until they're dry. Here's the best you can do:
  1. Remove the stereo from the boat completely.
  2. Remove the cover(s) from the stereo to expose as much of the inside to air as possible.
  3. Let it sit for a few days inside to dry.
  4. Reassembly it and install it back in the boat.
If you're lucky, the unit will return to normal operation. Unfortunately, my guess is, since you powered the unit up when it was wet, damage may have already been done.

I used to own Jensen cd player for a while but I can't remember the solution of loop loading. Check Jensen cd-players manuals http://jensen.manymanuals.com/cd-players

There is always a chance that you "bricked" the unit with the update. IT happens. When you get to the cross hairs you are supposed to hold your finger in the middle till it asks for the next step. IF it wont go to this, then can you retry the whole process over again. If not you have bricked it and it has to be sent in for reflash

In the back of the set you should find a small 'spade' type fuse, replace with Fuse: 15-amp, mini ATM type There is a fuse holder in on the yellow wire on the wiring harness, pull out the unit and replace fuse. User manual: http://www.jensenmobile.com/docs/common/UV10/UV10_OM.pdf Wiring diagram http://www.manualslib.com/manual/674477/Jensen-Uv10.html?page=4#manual Good luck.
