i have a eclipse that would cut power to the cd player when ever it wanted. it turned out that the yellow memory wire had a bad spot in it. i cut a chunk out and then made a fresh connection from car to cd player and has worked great ever since! give it a try.

Hi what you have described is normal operation unless there is a cd stuck in the machine. If so, then the only course of action is to unpower the radio completely then reconnect it - this may force an eject or the unit may then recognise a disc in the player. if not, then the only course of action is to remove the lid and figure a way of manually winding the disc out without damaging the disc or mechanism.

ok so your 1st problem is its a jenson.... known for common problems such as this... i would try connecting another cd/radio to the car and see if that solves any problems

Bad CD mech, not worth the cost of repair on this unit..

you may have blown the out put chip in the radio

Press in on the volume control repeatedly to step through the menu of audio functions. The
first option is Volume, followed by subwoofer (only if the subwoofer feature is currently

I asked a friend of mine and he didn't charge me ANYTHING. What happened to free advice? What has happened to helping each other out? This is bogus!

1. Clean the lens. Use only a special CD lens cleaner and follow the instructions carefully. (Avoid CD-cleaning discs with brushes attached. Some can damage the lens-suspension system.) 2. make sure the CD is properly loaded and not scratched. good luck

Para checar si es el estereo el que esta dañado pon la corriente directa junto con la de la llave y checa si no ta baja la bateria si no la baja tienes problema con el estereo,.

Either the back light lamp is burned out or if it is also a flip face, then you may have a "wire" on the ribbon cable to the flip face that is broken and then you would need to replace the ribbon cable. If it is a flip face then I would strongly suspect that it is the ribbon cable.
