I belive that changer is manufactured by Audiovox . There six disc magizine should work.

HI, the load motor has failed in your changer and , you will have to replace this. its part of the loading dock assembly and it turns all the gears associated with the loading and playing procedures.

If you are hearing continuous clicks, this will be the reason for the failed motor.

I am interested in purchasing the entire unit. Tell me how much you are asking for it.

is it an original cd or a copy? some cd players doesn't accept rewriteables cds. or or wrong format (mp3, mp4 etc)

just turn the changer on, make sure it is playing a disk, (and you know whats playing) the press the scan function on your radio til it picks up that signal and lock it in.

your red wire goes to your aux ignision and also your yellow as they are both power wires

It should have an fm transmitter that has 3 options (more or less) beginning with 88.5, 88.7, 88.9, etc. pick any one of the three and turn on the cd changer. If it works properly then you should be able to hear your music. The one you pick should correspond with the channel frequency of the radio or head unit.

It might be the lasers wattage has decreased due to the aging of components. did you use a lens cleaner? if not try that then assume that the lens power has decreased. If this is the case take the unit to a shop and have it repaired.

You said you cleaned the player but did you clean the disc? Any scratches, dirt debris? To clean the disc you can but special cleaning soultions at various retailers. Have you tried playing diffrent discs, that will help rule out if it's the player or disc.

Crystal: Did you ever figure out the problem? I have a manual for this changer, would be glad to fax it to you. Looks like it plugs into the FM modulator

I have one but no CD cartridge. I could part with my wired remote real cheap.
