Locked Devant Tv
wow that... sucks... if youve lost the remote and owners manual you could try leaving it unplugged a really long time. there are capacitors storing energy in the tv so that it remembers all the info even when you unplug it. if you leave it unplugged long enough you might be able to make it go to factory default. i hear using a screw driver to "short" the leads on the power cord can make it drain quicker. I have no idea if this will work. just don't stick the screw driver into the power outlet or try getting inside the TV... I like trying to answer your questions!
I'm fairly certain after a few days of being unplugged it will forget.
good luck, hope you don't need a new TV

Most RCA and GE TV
sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset procedure is
different depending on the model. Try each method until you find one that
works:
1.
Hold down MENU
on the remote and VOLUME DOWN on the TV it's self at the same time for at least
4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked
2.
Hold down the 0
on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN buttons on the TV its self at the same time
for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked
3.
Hold down the
MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same
time for at least 4 seconds.
4.
Hold down GO
BACK on the remote and MENU on the front of the TV at the same time for at
least 4 seconds.
5.
Hold down EJECT
on the front of the TV and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for
at least 4 seconds.
Depending on the model,
one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change
the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS,
or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET.

No, your tv is an older model sdtv with an analog only NTSC tuner.
Newer model have an ATSC/Qam digital tuner, but not your model.
This means that if you want to watch tv, you'll have to get a converter box. It will have the ATSC/QAM tuner i it, and it converts the signal into lower definition NTSC, and then sends it to the tv through either coax cable, or rca cables.
Once in a great while you might even find one that has s-video output, but those usually are expensive.
I hope this helps you out.

Hello
Just try one amoung the following codes. I've only these three codes are available with me for Jensen Tv.
{ 0004 _0009 _0133 }
Proceedings
- Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
- Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
- Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
- With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Note:- If one amoung the above four codes did't work, try the other after the TV is switched off and switch in again after some time, say at about 10 seconds, and try the other. Not enter the code continously without turning it off, after one code won't work. Ok.

If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.

the Jensen factory reset codes that will reset the TV to the original
