SonicWALL TELE2 Firewall - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Sonicwall tele2
Hello ask4jon,
I gave this advice at an earlier time and I think it applies here to.
What I want you to do is to reset your router by locating the Reset button on the back of
the SOHO TZW next to the LAN connection. Using a pointed object, press and hold the Reset
button for 5-10 seconds. All settings are returned to the factory default settings including the
password and the default LAN IP address of 192.168.168.168.
The I want you to reenter your ISP information and configuration settings. Once this is done try to ping your gateway (ISP gateway router) address. Then try to ping the internet try to ping this address: www.dslreports.com
This is the quickest way to get back to where you want to be without trying to redo a lot of configurations.

Can not connect to PPPOE DSL
Is there a reason why the Sonicwall needs to do the PPPOE auth?
You should be able to let the modem do the PPPOE connection and have the Sonicwall behind it.
The Sonic wall will get a private IP address.

Strange noise
Sounds (pun intended) like one of the cooling-fans has worn-out bearings, and is "screeching", just before it totally freezes-up, and dies, and causes your SonicWall to overheat.

UPNP over sonicwall
For "security" reasons, you should not all UPNP traffic from "outside" of your network to enter your "internal" network. Block it.

Remove pc performer from my computer
Hi you can remove the PC Perfomer using the software Ccleaner.
CCleaner 4 09 4471
select tools and uninstall the PC Performer, if it doesn't uninstall then select delete entry. Also Ccleaner makes your computer faster by removing temporary files/cleaning registry. Hope this helps.

Hack the sonic wall
Hacking is a broad term and there are many attack vectors which you can use. If you do not truly understand that then you will not be cracking a firewall. You need a method of attack, recon it and search the vulnerabilities.

Get bsnl internet settings sony xperia
The high-level answer is to get the login parameters and internal IP for the Sonicwall, get the Internet parameters for your new ISP, and then log into the Sonicwall device, go to Networking-> Interfaces, and configure the WAN adapter with those settings.

Wife is patient in local
The inability of a client running Windows Vista to connect with a
SonicPoint or any SonicWALL firewall (UTM) appliance running SonicOS
Standard firmware is caused by a lack of a correct association on the
SonicWALL between the computer running Windows Vista and its assigned IP
address. Follow these steps to work around the issue by editing the
System Registry:
WARNING: Exercise extreme caution when modifying the System Registry.
Incorrect modifications could lead to an inability to boot your system.
It may become necessary to completely reinstall your operating system.
- Click the Start button.
- Select All Programs > Accessories.
- Right click Command Prompt and click Run as administrator.
- Type regedit.exe and press enter.
- Go to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
- Right click this entry and select New Dword.
- Rename the new entry ArpRetryCount (leave it set to 0 by default).
- Restart the computer.
- Reassociate with the SonicWALL. You should notice a successful connection.
Please print this out if possible, you may want to take your computer to a local repair shop to make this change if your not comfortable.

I can't get the laptops
Is "sonicwall fire wall" a separate computer-networking appliance, or is it software that runs on each laptop?
Uninstall it, and enable the Windows Firewall. This latter firewall is just as good as any "commercial" software.
