I have a similar unit. One problem I had was a clogged solenoid for the frother. The solenoid is toward the front of my unit, connected to the frother by a hose. As I recall, I applied power to the solenoid and it did nothing. I figured it was clogged with minerals from hard water so I removed the solenoid from the machine, soaked it in vinegar, and tapped it a bunch of times to try loosen things up. Eventually, I could hear it engage when I applied power to it. I reinstalled it and the frother was working again. Please note that the solenoids and pump inside the machine operate at full line voltage (e.g. 120VAC). Line voltage can hurt or even kill a person so you need to know what you're doing to work with it.

This is preset and cannot be altered.. Do ensure you preheat the milk frother before use.. by activating the "clean" button on the frother jug

What do you see on the display when it is plugged in? Does it show the time or any other information? Does it do anything at all when you press the power button?

Understanding how the frothing mechanism functions is half the battle in figuring out the solution. It's a simple vacuum type system. No doubt you've read about checking the orings. This is definitely the first thing to check however if this is not the reason then consider the following.

The larger of the white tubes that has the red and black oring inserts deep into its port on the tap. Why? It pushes steam past the milk pipe directly into the chrome frothing tube which causes a vacuum essentially drawing milk up it's hose creating the froth. What you can't see without further investigation is that on the underside of the tube centered between the red and black orings is a small hole. This hole is responsible for drawing the milk upwards. If this is blocked, and it probably is then no milk and no froth. Use a really small screwdriver to carefully clean the white tube both from the front and the little hole underneath.

So in conclusion. Any air leak between the red and black rings will prevent the vacuum required to draw milk up the tube and alternatively any blockage of the milk channel will also obviously prevent the flow into the frothing mechanism.

I have change grinding from 7 to 1 ( it depends from coffee beans) and quality of coffee get much better (knob located inside the bean container).

This problem does not relate to coffee machines..

This normally happens because the milk supply tube is blocked with congealed, solidified milk. You will need to remove the tube and clean it manually. Ground coffee beans can squirrel their way into hard to reach places in a grinder and cause problems. I think it is clogged with grounds. Remove the beans. Reseat the burr (grinder). According to the De'Longhi UK website, the error message "Close Door" could be caused by two issues : The brewing unit is not installed properly in the unit. You can try turning the unit off, remove and reinstall the brew unit, and then turn the unit back on to see if it reset itself. The latch on the service door has coffee build up and is restricted from moving freely. Please clean the latch area and make sure the door closes.
