Hi Ted, this set is made with LG engineering and has backlights that have a really high failure rate, also they regulate the inverter section of the power supply way to close, as little as one bad button lamp will shut it down, if you replace the backlights there is about a 99% chance it will work again, also update software after installing the new strips as this extends the life of the new lamps

The captioning comes from your digital box. Look for the button on the remote. As you recorded it with captions, not sure if you can remove after recording, but worth a try.

The KX-TGA410 is a handset for several Panasonic cordless phone systems, including the KX-TG411X. (X indicates the original number of handsets sold with the phone system.) Is the answering system set for "Greeting Only" or did you turn off the ringer? If you have set the system to greeting only, with the phone in standby mode (no calls in or out), press Menu # 3 0 5 . This accesses the Caller's Recording Time. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a recording length. Press the soft key for Save the selection. The options are "Greeting Only", "1 minute" and "3 minutes". Press Off to exit the menu. F04 is a mechanism issue; the µProcessor doesn't know the position of the mechanism. Take it to a Panasonic Service department for service.

If the mechanism is in the wrong position, you will get the error message. Re set the mechanism refering to the deck service manual.

All you need to do is load up the disc. When the message pops up that says the disc will only play in a Region B or C player pops up, press "stop" on the remote control. Then press "1" on the remote, followed by "enter." This will bypass the message and load up the disc to play normally.Alternatinely, insert the disc, wait for the region warning, press OK and then 270811.

Unfortunately this could be any of 5 or 6 boards with issues, it's most likely not going to be worth fixing as parts are expensive and hard to find for this model TV

Check the power supply for proper voltages

Panasonic flat panel televisions are packaged with a small television stand that users can attach to place the television on a flat surface. Some users, after attaching the stand, would prefer to hang the television on a wall instead. If the stand is still attached to the Panasonic TV, you cannot hang the television on the wall. Remove the stand from the TV to hang it on a wall. Step 1 Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and lay the television, screen down, on a towel. The towel helps prevent damage to the screen. Step 2 Remove the four retaining screws that secure the stand from the bottom of the television using the Phillips screwdriver. Step 3 Slide the stand out of the television. Place the stand and the screws in a safe place in the event you change your mind and decide to set up the television on the stand again. The television is now ready for hanging on a wall.

I don't believe the shorted LED diodes would cause your issue. Are you getting the command from the main to turn the power board on when the main voltage (16v) drops?
