Hi, the page counter can be 'reset' however you need to access the 'lower level' settings which are stored on the printers mainboard chip, this function is not available via the printers user menu. There are software packages (some free) available if you are looking to monitor page useage to user for individual billing etc.

connect the printer directly to the walloutlet.... try with a different walloutlet as well.... then unplug the power chord from the back of the printer as well as other cables if it is connected without turning the printer off... then press and hold the power Power cycle unit by switching the power switch off, wait for 10 seconds, then power on.. if it does not work then

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Press and hold down CANCEL and Start Copy buttons at the same time while powering on printer.
3. Continue to hold down buttons until the control panel display reads PERMANENT STORAGE INIT.
4. Release the buttons. Printer will return to Ready automatically

Yes it is possible by software reset. You just need the right application to do the low level printer resetting. I'm sure the manufacturer has one but its not available for the end users.

it sounds like your collection assembly is full. this is not something you can do anything about. it must be replaced and it will be costly. you are probly better off to replace it

Go to the hp.com site and search for said driver. Sometimes they do not update their drivers for older machines, but I am not familiar with this one. Good luck. Once a year Staples will have a special where one can trade in an old machine for a discount on a new HP.
