u would have to open the back of your tv and see if anything is unpluged broken or burned n if it is u can buy the parts and put it in or have someone do it for u
There are several defects that can cause that problem One .the tV tuner could be defective Two the processor IC might not be processing the tuner signal Three. the circuit that receives the signal when it leaves the processor IC have some shorted components.You would have explore all of those possabilities in an effort to solve your problem.
The fact that there is a horizontal line on the screen tells you that all circuits are in operation except the vertical circuit , The virtical IC is probaly shorted or the reisitor that supplies voltage for the fly back is open in addition the negative feerback from the signal processor IC can be open also which can cause a horizantal line .You will have to check all dose circuits to seewhat is causing the line
You seem to have bad solder joints on the vertical output i.c, that part will be mounted vertically on a heathsink and have 7 to 12 connectors soldered to the circuit.
If you remove the cover and turn the tv on ,you can use something non conductive like a wooden salad spoon to knock around the circuit, this might help you locate the vertical out i.c.
Then you`ll need a soldering iron and solder to repair those solder joints. Don`t forget to unplug the set before working on it.

The VCR and DVD recorder won't eject/open on command either, so my guess is the capacitors on the power board are dead. Upvote
