Check all the components in the main power supply board, including STR switching device, for any damage, or loose solder terminals. Check and replace the damaged component. Check the horizontal output transistor too, for short. Check it for collector to emitter, or collector to base short. It will be best to replace it with a new one, and check. It is a tuner selector problem, either the processor controller ic is the problem, or the selector ic. The easiest solution use a VCR as your channel changer, and check to make the VCR is set to channel 4.

If the image on screen is zoomed both in vertical and horizontal direction, your TVs power regulator inside it is faulty. [Overvoltage]. If it is zoomed in vertical direction only, that is only the height of the picture is zoomed, you can adjust it with the remote control button directly on going through menu and get in to the function menu. Normally all TV remote has a special button marked as "Zoom" which on pressing it once the picture get zoomed, again another press the picture gets wide and again an another press picture will come to normal mode. You should select normal mode to retify the problem.

it would seem your fault would be a dry joint ( a solder point on the circuit board has come loose) the only way to fix this is to have the board taken out turned upside down and find were the dry joint is and re - solder it. if your not aware of electronics then it will have to go into the shop. a dry joint repair should only cost you around $ 40.00 - 60.00 in the mean time sticking a folded peace of cardboard under the tv might work as it puts preasure on the board pushing the solder point against the joint
good luck
