Panasonic dvd-rv32 region unlock?

HELLO

I am concerned about this problem as I don't know which country you are trying to use this unit in! If this DVD player is Canadian I would make sure of your countries mains voltage BEFORE plugging it in! If the mains voltage is MORE than 110/120 volts @ 60hz then you are going to have a problem unless you have a unit to drop the voltage to the required level. If you attempt to pump 230 volts through it damage WILL occur!

Now for your solution. To hack the player with your units remote will not get you very far, however if you go to www.genuinecopies.tv on the web they can supply a remote that will hack the unit and make it region-free and they DO work.

Forgive the long answer, but I just want you to use the unit safely!

ALL THE BEST (:-)

Error code h07

HELLO
I have just recently posted a cure for this - but here we go again. Fault H07 is the fault code for the spindle/disc motor and to cure it do this!
With the lid of the player removed, locate the spindle and where the motor shaft goes into the motor itself, use a little light oil or WD40. Let it soak in a while and try it again - you should now find it works.
Why this works I just don't know - it just does! (:-)

It appears that it is saying that it is hot.

if your player is overheating, it is pretty much dead. try contacting Panasonic to at least report this, in-case they may know there is an issue.
overheating can be caused by an electrical-short and may eventually cause fire -failures which usually require a safety-recall and you will get a replacement.

if your player is on top of a Television, remove it and see if it still has the problem.

My unit says locked and the disc compartment won't

Your best bet is to completely power down the unit, unplug it from the wall, allow it to sit for a good 3 - 5 minutes, and plug it back in. Then try to eject the disc at that point. If it still shows locked and won't eject let me know by replying to this and I will look to see if there is a manual eject procedure, not familiar with one off the top of my head. Chances are very very good that powering down completely, unplugging, and re-powering will work.

you idealy need to use a scart lead from the dvd to the tv, then pick the "av" chanel it is plugged intoon the tv. You get a much better picture using a scart lead.

Dvd

I opened it up and sprayed silicone on the center where the disc snaps on. I also sprayed from a side angle to try to aim it towards bearings/works underneath. It worked!
