Label parts motherboard

1) AC adapter (Charger) checks to be good?2) DC Power Jack checks to be good?(DC_IN. The jack on the laptop that the AC adapter plugs into)3) Then the problem is more than likely the Power MOSFET's on the motherboard.May also include electronic components, that support the P.MOSFET's, too.Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC), that are SMD/SMT, just like the Power MOSFET's.(Surface Mount Device/Surface Mount Technology)Using the HP Pavilion dv6000, and Pavilion dv9000, series of Notebook PC's for an example,http://mayohardware.blogspot.com/2010/04/important-parts-on-dv6000-and-dv9000.htmlFor these laptops the Fairchild Semiconductor Industries - FDS6679 - Power MOSFET is used, and the Alpha & Omega Semiconductor LTD - AO4407 - Power MOSFET, is used.http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=FDS6679http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Fairchild-Semiconductor/FDS6679AZ/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMshyDBzk1%2fWi1qxDdW%2fXBi2qgMuZEfLVO4%3dhttp://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=AO4407http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Diodes-Inc/DMP3020LSS-13/?qs=%2fha2pyFadujguNNSgppBRqXbOxXLwzGsZm9SWxz1EqWpzoSJOpHpWA%3d%3dWhere the DC Power Jack is soldered to the motherboard, is the DC - DC circuit on the motherboard. If the laptop uses a DC Power Harness, the DC to DC circuit is where the DC Power Harness plugs into the motherboard.[Some models of laptops have a DC Power Jack, that has a small harness of wires coming off of it. These wires end in a small male plug connector. The male plug connector plugs into the motherboard.DC Power Harness ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NN7UGWYmBYhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOSFEThttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_MOSFETRegards,joecoolvette

Acer connect projector

Connecting an External Monitor or Data Projector

You can switch to an external monitor or data projector by two methods. 1. Connect the external monitor to the laptop's video port, power up the external monitor first and the laptop. The video information will automatically switch to the external monitor. 2. If you power up the laptop first then you can switch the video output to the external monitor by pressing the Fn key and one of the Function keys, depending upon your make and model laptop. You can also toggle between the external monitor or both LCD screen plus the external monitor or back to LCD screen only by pressing the Fn key plus one of the function key a few times. Here is a list of key combinations for some of the laptops :- IBM ThinkPad = Fn + F7 HP and Compaq = Fn + F4 Toshiba = Fn + F5 ASUS and Dell = Fn + F8
