I have a Panasonic DMR-ES10EB

Assim, digitei no "gluglu": CHK REMOTE2 Panasonic
Entre outras dicas, saquei esta:
Question: - "Whenever I press any button on my remote control, I get this error message on the front panel display - CHK REMOTE2"
Answer: - "Just hold ENTER and press the number indicated on the display for a few seconds, and it will fix the issue".
Basta clicar ENTER e pressionar o numero indicado no display do painel frontal do gravador por alguns segundos - isto resolverá o problema.
(Clicar ENTER e pressionar o número 2 no controle remoto).

Make Panasonic DMR-EX769B Region free
turning the unit on, opening the tray, then pressing and holding the record button and then a half-second later pressing and holding the "dub to DVD" button - which is a silver button on the far right with an arrow pointing to DVD. Hold both down together for a total of about 10 seconds and it should reset your region. However, unlocking all region codes on the unit would require knowledge of placing it in service mode and changing the programming. To access service mode, see here: http://www.macfh.co.uk/JavaJive/AudioVisualTV/PanasonicDMRE100H/PanasonicDMRE100HEngineersMenu.html

My dmr-e55 dvd recorder will try to do a seif
Hi there,
One possible cause of this is there is a known fault with the DMR-E55 where it goes into self check with intermitent shut down, so much so there is a mod kit available to try to overcome this. The kit costs around £20 online. However the kit composes of componants that need to be soldered into place and I stress this should only be under taken by trained technicians as further damage could occur, also the removal of the cover exposes potentially live electrical parts. The cooling fan could also indicate that there is a problem on the circuit board or the fan is on it's way out and needs replacing. My only recomendation is to take it to a Panasonic registered repair centre.
Hope this helps,
James

Ihave dmr-e55 it records advd for 5 minutes
1) Press and keep [POWER] button on the unit for more than 10 seconds
to turn off the power of the unit.
2) Unplug power cord and wait for approx. 1 minute.
3) Plug power cord in.
4) The display shows [RECOVER] or [SELF CHECK] and it becomes under
recovery. Wait till the message on display disappears.
*When the unit does not recover after taking above procedures (1 to

Panasonic DMR E55 Won't record AT&T U-Verse programs!
Make sure you only use the correct type of discs: DVD-RAM or DVD-R for recording and DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, Video CD, CD-Audio (CD-DA) and CD-R/RW (MP3, CD-DA, Video CD formatted discs) for playback.
DVD-RAM disks are in plentiful supply on eBay, both new and used. Keep an eye open and you should pick them up, new, for less than £1 Sterling each!
I am unclear, though, what you mean about recording to and from the VCR. The DMR-E55 doesn't have a VCR facility, just DVD.

DMR-E55
Should do.. after all it is only going to record signals OUT from the TV to the DVD recorder IN... as long as it is wired up OK it should be OK. Wire either Component, R,G, B or Audio Visual, .R, W, Y.
