I find that sometimes you have to turn the antenna a little to receive more channels. Do you have a good booster? I gained an extra twenty to thirty channels by installing a good booster to my antenna.

switch tv to analogue tv and auto tune on tuning menu making sure sky is on. It should find it around channel 69. If quality poor then change output frequency to a lower channel. You do this with sky menu and instruction book. Info is changing RF output in book, or google it.

The secret is that the VCR code turns the set on/off and the TV code controlls the volume...try this:

Program the Verizon remote AUX button using the panasonic VCR codes until it turns the set on/off, program the remote for TV using the panasonic TV codes until it controls volume, then program the STB button to control all 3... STB, TV, and AUX. If you are missing any VCR or TV funtions try another respective panasonic code until all functions are available.

Panasonic VCR codes are 1089, 0062, 0189, 0252, 0643, 1062.
Panasonic TV codes are 0277, 0078, 0677, 1437.

To figure this out, I had to use the "what if none of the codes worked" section and figured I'd try the VCR codes since the TV codes would not turn it on/off.

Good Luck!

This is what I did:

- go to the Main Menu
- select TV
- on TV menu change the INPUT from LINE to TUNER

That's it!!

Stay Blessed.

First you need to check if your set is in the cable mode and not antena mode,if the set is in cable make sure is in the standard cable mode and not another type of cable like HRC,if it is change it and try the autoprogram to set the available channels.I hope it helps.

Disconnect the power source and allow to sit for several minutes.
Remove and reconnect the aerial or antenna connections and reconnect. Power unit on and run a New Channel search from aerial only.

The main record/replay head should be spinning as soon as a tape is pushed into the slot and as the cassette engages with the spindles the sensor that disappears into the cassette will register the presence of a tape and the tape should spool out...

That is what is happening - I am not sure why it ejects. The mechanism is complex and the electronics that support the mechanism similarly so. There might be an electronic fault but a mechanical fault is more likely, especially if the unit hasn't been used for a while. The internals are a riot of rubber belts and wheels, solenoids and clutches and the risk of tape damage is very high if all those things aren't performing as they should and so rather than risk a tape the cassette is spat out when something isn't right.

The guys in the repair shop remove the cover and insert a special cassette that is an ordinary cassette that enough remains to fool the system into operating but the majority has been cut away. This allows them to closely observe the mechanism in action - the first step in finding the problem...
