My freezer has a different code number;ZFT710FW.I put quite a lot of food into the freezer yesterday and the alarm now keeps sounding,I have put the temperature up but the red light is still flashing

Red Alarm Indicator Light Under normal operating conditions, the internal temperature of the freezer will ensure the long-term conservation of the stored food. When such temperature rises above a certain level (-12 °C), the appliance will trigger an acoustic and light alarm. The light alarm is a blink red light (Red Alarm Indicator Light), while the acoustic alarm is an intermittent sound. You can stop the acoustic alarm by pressing the Acoustic Signal Stop Switch once. When switching on the freezer for the first time, the Red Alarm Indicator Light will blink until the internal temperature has reached a level required for the safe conservation of frozen food. Fast Freeze function If more than 3-4 kg of food is to be frozen: 1. Press the Fast Freeze Switch for 2-3 seconds to activate the fast-freeze function 6-24 hours before placing the fresh food in the freezer, the Yellow Fast Freeze Indicator Light will illuminate. The compressor will now run continuously, to ensure that the fresh food is frozen as quickly as possible. 2. It is possible to deactivate the function at any time by pressing the Fast Freeze Switch for 2-3 seconds. 3. Place the foods in the freezing compartments (indicated with graphics). 4. Once the food is completely frozen (it may take up to 24 hours) you can manually switch off the fastfreeze function by pressing the Fast Freeze Switch for 2- 3 seconds and the Yellow Fast Freeze Indicator light will also go out. 5. Move frozen food from the freezing compartments into the other compartments (storing compartments) to make room for another freezing. If the Fast Freeze Switch is accidentally left on, the fast-freeze function will be automatically switched off 48 hours later. The Yellow Fast Freeze Indicator light will also go out. I believe that you all understand. If you intend to freeze larger amount of food then certainly a few hours before some shopping switch on the fast freeze function. Dado

Hotpoint quadrio fridgefreezer keeps tripping the electrics when I open the fridge door.

I believe that a short circuit creates a defective light bulb inside the refrigerator or some other element in its circuit (door switch, lamp socket, wiring). Dado

How to add refridgerant gas to an lg fridge freezer

For such a procedure you should have knowledge and a lot of expensive work condition like: - Vacuum pump - Charging station - Manifolds - Recovery station - Electronic charging scale - Electronic leak detector or UV leak detector and so on ...... The situation is further complicated by some of the new environmental gases which are explosive so you need to be qualified and trained person. It is best to leave that to the specialist or qualified service personnel. Dado

Why is Zanussi frost free freezer alarm always flashing

Because it does not achieve the correct temperature (for example: -18 degrees centigrade). For a more precise answer I need more information. A lot of things may be incorrect: - Doesn't work defrosting cycle - The cooling fan is not working - Too much ice on the evaporator battery - Faulty thermostat or NTC sensor - Faulty cooling system (gas leak) - Compressor - Electronic Dado

Door will not close

It sounds like the door got shut when something in the jam and you may need to loosen the hinge, realign the door and tighten the door hinges again. Easier with 2 people but not impossible with 1.

Zx99 fridge freezer not freezing and intermitent

Hello....Sounds to me like the fridge is getting low on refridgerant gas...If it is an older unit...it may have developed a leak over time and may just need a recharge.Get a quote from a repairman...most of the time..it is not very expensive to fix unless there is a problem with the compressor....I hope this was helpful....PEACE....

Need a circuit diagram for

There should only be 2 wires for compressor operation, (brown and white or blue and white), it you only have 2 posts with wires to them on your thermostat, take the wires off the posts and join them, if compressor is good, it will start but do this with GREAT CARE, exposed wires are dangerous and be sure to disconect the power from the wall before and after doing the above, good luck. Fridge making a purring sound then stopped working

Yes, I think you have a problem that can be fixed easily by a repair technician. The sound as you described it could have come from the air circulation fan in the freezer compartment striking ice. As the ice builds up it could have stopped the fan from rotating and air flow to the refrigerator compartment.

Norfrost C6AEW Chest Freezer. Wiring help please.

Question edited for clarity and add CAPS. It seems to be a common occurrence on that model due to bad design. https://www.fixya.com/support/t17110008-norfrost_c6aew_chest_freezer_compressor Norfrost is owned by Ebac. Contact their customer service. https://www.johnogroat-journal.co.uk/news/caithness-freezer-name-lives-on-in-england-170710/ https://www.ebac.com/support/customer-service Another way would be to study the wiring as it is pretty standard. The video may help. https://www.google.com/search?q=freezer+wiring+diagram You may be able to freeze this video to note the wiring, although this only shows the thermostat wiring and is a bit fuzzy. Also an refrigeration appliance technician would know the wiring by heart and take 20 minutes maximum to work it out.
