Hotpoint dy46x. No heat. Why doesn't pilot light in top oven light?

Very well could be, but I would check the heating element. Unless you have tools and skill to check you will need to call for service.
Given the situation in UK you may be better served using main oven if possible.

Hotpoint EG74 slot in. My top oven is not heating up properly. But the grill is working. Is there another element to replace? Or could it be something else broken? Thanks

There are usually more than one element in an oven with a grill.

My hotpoint gas oven is turning itself on when knob is all the way off. I tried replacing the thermostat but it is even worse now. I also replaced the starter. Could I have a faulty thermostat?

Is there an Oven timer on it?

You need it professionally serviced. Ordinary people aren't permitted to work on gas appliances themselves without certification. Gas is too dangerous, poisonous and explosive! Contact Hotpoint direct, if that is a known issue, it will be the subject of a recall.

Have a Hotpoint HAE60. For the first time in a long time I used both ovens together. During cooking oven tripped out. Checked main wiring ok. Are there any fuses to this make of cooker?

fuse under rated or a blown element in one of the stoves

Hotpoint bd 31 Oven.The glass catches the bottom of the oven when you open the door.This forces the glass away from the hinges.The hinges look good. Why is the glass hitting the oven frame.

I think I would try removing the door and reinstalling. It may be the door is simply misaligned in the hinge. Easy process, heres a YouTube video describing how to do this.

Sounds like a control board problem. When the display goes out that is usually a dead board.

Hotpoint self cleaning oven clean light won't stop blinking

might need to run it through the cycle again. you may have disrupted the timers and if has not reset itself. try this link and see if these answers help you out.
