Hello nfox1987,

First you need to determine if the amp is defective or if something else is causing it to go into protection, most often a short in the sub or amp wiring.

Disconnect the sub(s) from the speaker output terminals and the RCA inputs from the head unit, and test if the amp powers up OK. If it does, the problem is in the sub(s) wiring or voice coils, or in the RCA inputs to the amp. Reconnect each one-at-a-time to determine exactly where the short is and repair or replace the defective wiring or unit. If it doesn't power up with the inputs and sub(s) disconnected, the amp itself is most likely defective.

Hope this helps.

The amplifier may be bad with a malfunctioning circuit inside. Also, it could be getting low voltage...make sure that the amp is getting 12 volts or more at the constant and remote leads. If it is connected to speakers, make sure that they are measuring more than 2 ohms (using a voltmeter). A good stereo shop can check this for you too.

Could be a loos wire in the casing for the screen. if this happens while moveing this is most likely. if you are stationary then it could be a power fault because the power feed for sound and the power feed for picture are from two different sources.
