Sony CDX-M850mp isnt playing any audio from aux or cd input

This issue might be due to a malfunctioning auxiliary input or a problem with the amplifier circuit. You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the connection between the auxiliary input and the head unit to make sure it's properly plugged in.
  2. Check the audio cable for any signs of damage or wear.
  3. Make sure the auxiliary input is selected as the source on the head unit.
  4. Check the amplifier circuit to see if it's functioning properly. If it's not, the amplifier may need to be repaired or replaced.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it's recommended to have the unit inspected by a professional audio technician.

Suddenly no sound from Sony LBT-A790 amp. It is working and green light is on.

First thing we should check is the resistance in each of the speaker circuits. With the system OFF and everything connected, use a multi-meter and take a reading across each set of speaker terminals. Most home audio drivers should measure close to 8 Ohms. Report back what you find

What is the correct way to hook up a 1000 watt Sony xplod Amp with 1 subwoofer to my Sony mp-40

To properly hook up your 1000 watt Sony Xplod Amp with one subwoofer to your Sony MP-40, you will need to connect the subwoofer to the amplifier using RCA cables. Once the subwoofer is connected, you will then need to use a power cable to connect the amplifier to your Sony MP-40. Make sure the power cable is connected properly and that the amplifier is turned on. After that, you should be able to adjust the settings on the amplifier to get the desired sound from the subwoofer.

My Sony GT90BT car radio is not working. No power on display.

Hi, usually one uses a power cycle in order to reset the radio. If the radio is not coming on, the wires powering it could be bad so you'd want to check them with a multimeter for current. Then, you'd want to test the car battery to see if it's still powerful enough to support all of the devices in your car. Then you can get the radio checked. Thank you.

My Sony car radio keeps scanning but wont hold a station?

Did you do anything around the rear window glass? That is where the aerial is unless you have some other type of antennae. There is also a connector plug under the dash behind the radio. Your signal isn't strong enough for some reason. Have you tried switching between FM and AM channels.

AMP shuts off

your problem could be in the fact that you are trying to overdrive the amp. sony will not carry a 1 ohm stable load and if your speaker are 4 ohm speakers wired in series then you cant drive the bass your looking for. try using soundstream tarantula amp or new hifonics block mono class d amp with about 1000 watts rms. what kicker subs do you have? that will also make the difference in amp choice. im running tarantula on 4 polk momo 4 ohm 12's and has broke my back glass in my jeep twice one time was for a show. oh well let me know. happy boom boom. i'll be glad to help

Hello I have a Sony CD headunit (cdx-565up) and the face comes on but you can't do anything but turn it up and down can't switch stations can't adjust nothing just comes on turns up and down that's it

Take a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and clean each button thoroughly to remove any residue. There is a eject lever on the device that could be out of place. To fix this some minor repair will be needed. Taking the face plate off using the small button on the lower left hand side will give you access to the reset button. Try this before opening up your entire device. Try any above of these Hope it helps you Good luck
