Sony FD Trinitron Wega KV-FV300.
Hi,
Symptom shows that main circuit board of tv got some loose connection/ loose connector some where that is causing problem and slap/ hit on tv cabinet connect that connection temporarily for some time.
If you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can do solder work then check/ inspect solder joints on circuit board and resolder any dry/ cold solder joints/ connections that look dull or not shiny as compare to nearby solder joints.
If you are not familiar dong so then local tv repair shop will do this job for you.
Hope these info will help, let me know if there is additional question.
Thanks.

Comes on and later goes blank
How much later? The Sony sets have a setting in the menu that turnes the TV off if there isnt' any input, Sometimes this feature gets messed up, and the feature has to be turned off, Check that out and see if that takes care of the problem.

I have replaced the horizontal output transistor
I would first be suspicious of the flyback transformer if the HOT was shorted. I have also found many Sonys with shorted video output i.c. s which are on the CRT pc board. I do not recall if this model uses one output i.c. or three separate ones. Either way you can unplug the cabling feeding the crt board and try powering the set again. If the high voltage comes up you likely have a shorted video i.c. (The i.c. s short most likely because the crt momentarily arcs.) If this test does not result in a clearing of the over current problem I would, as I said initially, suspect the flyback. There are other possible causes, but those are the two I have seen most often.

How many times does the green light flash? This green light can tell you the area where the problem is but it will not tell you what is bad.

1/3rd of Bottom portion of Screen is blacked out
sound like you have cloced caption text on, this is not the same as the normal cloced caption, look on your rempte for caption or "cc". if you don't see it you will find it in your menu & turn it off.
have a good day.

Help, the sony slv-x715 video cassette recorder does not read the cassette. Error code : 3L 22 AA, tried 10 cassettes to no avail
If your Sony SLV-X715 VCR is not reading the cassette and you are receiving the error code 3L 22 AA, there could be a few potential issues causing the problem. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Clean the Video Heads: The error code you are seeing may be related to dirty or clogged video heads. Try using a cleaning cassette to clean the heads and see if this resolves the issue.
- Check the Cassette Compatibility: Ensure that the cassette tapes you are trying to use are compatible with your VCR. Some tapes may not be compatible due to their format or quality. Check the user manual to ensure that you are using the correct cassette tapes.
- Check the Cassette Loading Mechanism: Ensure that the cassette is properly inserted into the VCR and that the loading mechanism is functioning correctly. Check for any obstructions or damage to the mechanism that may be preventing the cassette from loading properly.
- Reset the VCR: Try resetting the VCR by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and trying again.
- Contact Technical Support: If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Sony technical support for assistance. They can provide you with more specific troubleshooting steps or guide you through the process of repairing or replacing your VCR if needed.
It's worth noting that the error code you are seeing may indicate a specific issue with your VCR, so you may want to consult the user manual or online forums for more information on what the code means and how to address it.
