Sony post convergence repair problem
The flash focus is a joke in these sets--only adjusts a limited area and can make the set look worse--like having a cigarette lighter in your car--not really needed.Flash focus rarely if chips have been replaced will SAVE the adjustments. The set stores the convergence adjustments on a board inside--best way to adjust is with the Sony remote to enter the tech menu and adjust there--when done one of the numbered buttons is pressed and Save? in red appears--press same button again and it goes to green which means adjustments have been stored in the set.The tech menu will also always give a much better adjustment of the entire sceen.
