The ten blinks indicate that you do not have the 5 volt output from your DTL module on either board one or board two.

I really need some help with what/who do I need to contact to resolve the problem. My light bulb went out first and now the Light Engine is going out. Causing a blue screen bar screen in the bottom half of my TV and little blue dots everywhere on the TV. I have the 60' Sony Wega Model

No power or what? If total dead look for a bad fuse first, if any light comes on or blinks on front that is a different issue, red light if there blinks a specific number of blinks, pauses and repeats then that is a error code.

There are wireless units on the internet that can be connected to most sets--do some research with Google.

If it does not come on there is not a way to reset the error buffer.

I have the link to the service manual but first I want you to try something, with set off and using the Sony remote:Display, 5, vol up, power.when set comes on it will or should be in tech menu----Depress only the number 8, followed by enter.On pressing the 8 the word reset should appear in red, and when enter is pressed it should change to green.DO NOT PRESS ANY OTHER BUTTONS WHILE IN THE MENU.TURN POWER OFF with the button on the set. Wait for the fans to stop (5 min) and remove power from set. A few minutes later plug power back and turn on set to see if you are now out of the factory mode.Let me know and if you want the link for the full manual I will get it for you.

The bulb on the.tv.may be bad as.well as the color wheel try replacing both

need a RCA to what ever jack is on your headphonesTVs dont have them nowadays...could use a USB aswell

The info banner of your HDTV is turned on. To remove or turn it off, just simply follow these steps.

1. Press Menu (on remote commander)
2. Press UP or DOWN arrow button to highlight the SETUP icon and press ENTER
3. Use Down arrow button to scroll down through the Info Banner.
4.Press Enter to select this feature.
5.Use arrow buttons to scroll through options on or off .
6.Select off and press enter button to disable the info banner.
7.Press menu to exit.

First thing i would ask is where is the smell coming from?

I'm not en expert but how old is the unit?if is about 5 year old is time to replace lite it will say on you screen . well at least on mine said

Look at the owner manual as the 10 blinks is a error code or Google the model number to locate that information--Sony error codes are general and often misleading.I would if looking at the set inspect the lamp first.

If have confirmed power to set what if any light on front comes on and if red one blinks try to count the blinks---an error code----lamp should of course be examined.got a error blink code?

with the input or source button--it will cycle thru the several video inputs and end up on the tuner line.

one lamp or bulb is used in this model---google the model number with "lamp" for a wide selection of replacement lamps.

check in main menu for external speakers being selected and on.
