log onto router in URL type in 192.168.1.1 if nothing happens, go to command prompt and type in:
C: arp -a the first instance of 192.168.x.x will be your IP address. Go back up to the URL type it in.

log on to router - admin is default for username as well as password. make sure on front page there that where it says "

Also, make sure the number of wireless devices is allowing more than just your desktop.

Last, on the MAC tab, make sure addressing is OFF

You need to install the drivers from this page. It's very simple, make sure you pick the according OS, which is Windows XP in your case. You can probably find the software on the manufactures web site and download it and run the software from the .exe file. Without knowing the model number of the Wireless Adapter I have no way of looking for you, but the manufacture should be able to provide it via download.
