How do I get my Sony RCD-W1 to record from one CD to another
using the dubbing button on your recorder will recorder from your cd player on the right side of the deck to the cdr recorder on your left side..the left side of the deck is the cd recorder...hope it helps...just place a cd disc on the right side and a blank cd on the left side push dubbing button and wait till the left side reads the song on the recorder cd on the right

There is a small round rubber belt which allows a motor to open the tray. Open the tray, as you say you can, Remove the mains plug. Remove the mounting screws for the deck and you will find the small drive belt underneath. I would recommend buying 2 belts and replacing them both. The diameter is 1 or 2 mm less than the old one (because they stretch)

How can i use RCD
What you need is a tape deck with 2 rca line outs L&R. Hook them up to the analog ins on the player. rec on deck b. Dont forget to get the right cdr's , i guess you need "music" or "Audio" crd-r's
Why does it say "no
You're trying to use a blank data disc. Use one that says "audio' or 'music". It's in the manual.

I think there is no cd in the tray or your recorder had set in pause mode .

I have the same problem with both trays on a Sony RCD-W3 not ejecting. If you push the tray sometimes it opens, but takes a few attempts. the recording CD sometimes doesn't see the disk but ejecting and re-entering it normally gets around that. I have no permanent solution, I'm afraid. Probably needs to be opened up and rails greased/oiled or something like that.

You don't define OPC...
One problem is if you are trying to copy material that has imbedded copy protection some recorders will stop, blocking your attempt to copy.
Another problem MIGHT be using wrong speed media.
