you need to use a mono-to-stereo cable, the azden is a mono output mic by the aiptek is a stereo input and you are shorting out the phantom power with a mono plug in a stereo jack. - DL

Some Aiptek cameras work with SD and SDHC cards, some work only with SD cards. If you have one of the latter, make sure your card is an SD card, not an SDHC card. The two card types are physically identical but electronically different.If you need further assistance, please feel free to reply to this post. Can you tell me the exact model of your camcorder? Most camcorder has a slot specifically for external microphone. If it doesn't have an external mic slot, then it is not supported.

If the LCD is broken you must first get the price for the LCD unit before you think of changing the unit. If the price is high compared to the price of the camera, then you must think of exchanging the camera.
The LCD must be sourced from the service center.

Hello there. Memory cards have a memory, but not the way you are worried about. The cards can be used over and over again and store the pictures that the camera is taking as it takes them but if you delete the pictures from the camera's delete button, the memory card will be clean and ready to take new pictures and as someone suggested, you can go into the menu of the camera and use the "select the FORMAT your card option" which will wipe out all picture information and leave the memory card clean and ready to record new pictures again. Old pictures are history, never to be seen by other human eyes. :)

If your camera cost $200 or less, it's not worth it to try to get a repair. They really don't repair it anyway....they just send you a factory-refurbished replacement.

It is ideal not to waste time but to get your old adapter to be could with one in the general market. The cord of old adapter can be used while the voltage marked on the adapter can be suited from a universal type in the market-- every electronic store/ phone accessories.
